Re: Wanted
The bad news is that they are not being repoped and the further bad news is that there are a bunch of us looking for them. I saw a pretty nice set of 4 go on ebay for over $500.00.
They are really hard to come by.

Re: Wanted
Just to be clear are you talking about the cap that goes on the axle or the cap in he center of the wheel?

Re: Wanted
There are five different versions of the '28/'29 steel spoke AA wheel hub cap. See the attachments - three on this note and three more on next note.

Re: Wanted
Thanks for the reference pics Neil. Are there any special order to the different styles, ie: do they cover different month/year, build locations throughout the country, hubcap manufacturers, or?

Re: Wanted
The picture names have numbers which indicate what I think is the sequence. The early one has the "made in USA" stamping and was used into March 1928 based on trucks that I have seen/heard about. I don't know about dates for the other caps. The pictures numbered 5a and 5b show what seems to be the most common. And, they have the stronger Ford script.
The point is that finding a set of five which all match adds to the search problem. At lease one side of the truck should have matching caps if a complete set can not be found.
