This is not what I call a restoration. I would rather find a truck like this without the paint job so that an original restoration could be started. However, if someone is looking for the driver truck, this might just be the ticket. The buy it now price of $10k seems reasonable.

I would want to verify that the express body is actually an AA (not a TT). And, I would want to find out the quality of the metal work under the nice looking paint job.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I e-mailed the guy that had the express truck for sale on ebay to ask for some pictures of the inside of the express bed to verify that it was an AA express bed and not a TT bed. He sent me the pictures and it 100% a TT express bed. It does not have the small wheel wells and the subrails are straight not tapered as on an AA express bed.

Robert,
Thanks for sharing your information. It sounds like the TT express was not converted to have tapered sills. I can only guess how the body is mounted to the frame and how the rear fender brackets are installed.

Most TT or AA express bodies are rusted out below the floor boards. So, converting a TT to fit an AA is about the same amount of work as just leaving it with straight sills.
