Bob:
It sure looks like the one on my early '31 AA long wheelbase stakebed.

Drew, It looks like the end of the hinge is bent at 90 degrees
where the bolt holes are, I think the AA is straight to bolt to the
side of the frame.

It's difficult to see what you're speaking of in the photo, but I do seem to detect something at the end of the hinges. And, you're absolutely correct about the hinges being completely flat on the AA. I just looked at mine and both are completely flat. Why would the BB have hinges that are bent 90 degrees at the ends of the hinges?

Drew, I think the BB bolts to the bottom of the frame rail not
the side like the AA. The picture is of a BB carrier, I'm going to
straighten the end of the hinge so it will fit my AA LWB.

I see what you mean by the hinges being bent at the two bolt holes. The hinges are completely flat on my early '31 AA. They bolt to the left-side frame rail. By the way, nice photo.

Was that bent piece riveted to the frame not the cross member.

The hinges on my AA carrier were bolted (not riveted) to the left-side frame rail. I'm have no idea of how Bob's BB carrier was fastened to the frame.

Re: 30-31 Spare Tire Carrier on Ebay
The tire carrier on Ebay may fit the L 31 AA with the straight rear frame. The one on Ebay is the same as the one above. The one on Ebay is bent on the end (down in the picture). The one above is lying upside down and you can see the hinge is bent, look at the hinge part itself and see how the tire carrier is mounted to the pivet pin. I have a 32 BB and 34 BB. The 34 has the hinges just like the above riveted to the frame on the right frame member, but do not have the tire carrier from hinge to the catch on the left out side of frame riveted. On the 32BB it does not have a tire carrier on it. It does have the holes in the frame the same as the 34 with some broken rivets in the holes. Both of my BBs are short wheel base around 131" !!!!
