stake bed information
I remember reading an article about the wood for the stake bed on my 4/30 AA Truck. I contained dimensions and patterns for the wood. I think it may have been in the AA news letter but can not find the copy. Does anyone know were this article may be? My bed is a steel frame on two wood rails with stake pockets in the steel. Thanks

Re: stake bed information
The article "AA Truck Talk - The 88-A Platform Body" was originally in the April 1997 Ford Model AA Truck Club newsletter. This article was then published in "The Restorer" in three parts. This three part article was then put into volume 7 of "How to Restore Your Model A" which is sold by MAFCA.
The 88-A would have been the Ford production platform for a 4/30 AA.
A subsequent article covers the components (stake racks, grain sides, and stock racks) of the 88-A. And appears in the April 1998 club newsletter with a title of "AA Truck Talk - Body Components of the 88-A Platform". This article also ended up in volume 7 of "How to Restore Your Model A". There is a mistake in the "Rack Board Dimensions" table. The height is 4-5/8" for all upper and center rack boards.
