it doesnt matter what condition the top part is, i just need the part that bolts the wishbone to the axle. if the bushing part is messed up that better for me because im cutting it off. i need 2 or 4. if you have at least 2 of the castle nuts that would be great too

Re: 30-31 AA front spring perches
You may have to find a front end and remove them. Just a thought.

Re: 30-31 AA front spring perches
Carrotman08,
I don't know if this will help you,but I had to cut the bottom part off of the one perch from our 32 AAB. We welded a hardened bolt on, and for the castle nut, used a nut and locking wedge from a late model big truck drive axle, and red Locktight. Around these parts its known as Pennsylvania Dutch engineering. Everything bolted up and seemed like it would work, but 2 weeks later I found an axle from a 31 AA and used that.

Re: 30-31 AA front spring perches
Hello Roy: If it's a case of your not needing the perch areas for the spring shackles, then you might be just as well off to make your own. I get the idea that the axle is for a buggy, and in that case anything goes. I used some 3/4" pipe for wish bones, and carriage bolts. It would sure be great if you could post some photos of the buggy in your avatar. Good luck.
