Seems my front u-joint for my 29 AA has turned the drive shaft for the last time. If anyone has an extra they would be willing to part with I would appreciate it.

Re: 1929 front u-joint needed
Dave,
The front u-joint for an AA with the three speed transmission attaches to the transmission. And, that u-joint is the same as used in the A. So, that should make it easy to find one.

Neil - good news that it is the same as the Model A. I see that Bert's has one in their catalog. Has anyone used the reproduction u joints and if so what are your thoughts on them? Or would it be best to try to find a good used one?
Gunmetal - suprisingly everything else in that area seems to have escaped much if any damage.

From what I've heard, the reproductions aren't that good, and that it's better to find a good original. No experience though. Just my $0.02.

1crosscut,
If a stock A U Joint will fit, I have one that appears to be NOS. If interested, I will send pics via e-mail. It is for a car, and is much smaller than the one I needed for my AA with the hi-lo set-up.

I just got one comming my way this morning. Looks to be a NOS or very slightly used. If for some reason it doesn't pan out I'll give you a shout. Thanks, Dave
