Where are they? Are any the style A wheels as shown in the photographs? If yes, the what is the condition of the wheels (or post more pictures).

All four are the B style based on your photos, located 28 miles south of Chicago Il.60430
on the Chicago rust belt scale: one wheel would be in very good to excellent condition one good to very good the other two in fair to good condition they are all serviceable. I'll email you some photos Neil

Yes, the A style was used until about March 1928. I have not gotten the Ford engineering drawings to get more information. The A style was pointed out to be by Fred Gooding. Fred was into early A's and he had an early AA truck (named Otto).

The ribs between the lug holes are longer and sharper and bolder on the type A wheels.

I have just checked my parts truck and have 2 of the early style wheels in poor ( VERY poor ?) condition. Are they of any value to anyone for research or other info?
