Re: Hauling available - here is where I am headed next ....
Hello Jim,
There are some AA parts (body panels - 12' x 2' plus other body parts) in Watsonville, CA 95076 that I can get if I go pick them up or find someone to haul them to Boulder, CO 80303. And some of the parts could go to Manhattan, KS 66503.
If this is something you might be able to do on one of your trips, then send me an email at neilwilson2@comcast.net so more details can be exchanged.

Thanks for the PM.
Looks like if I pick up in Watsonville, CA, it adds about 100 miles
to my trip down to San Bernadino, CA.
If you have paid for these parts or can have them paid for by
next Wednesday - I might be able to haul them for you.
At this time I have room all the way to Denver - possibly
across Kansas as well (I am picking up a truck in Denver - parts might
fit in the bed).
Space is reserved on a first come basis by PM or email confirmation.
The parts would have to be on a pallet - skid - container
of some type - in the case of body panels I need an accurate
footprint (length x width x height).
You can send me a PM here or an email thru my website:
@ http://www.trulyvintagetrailers.citymax ... sport.html
Upon receipt of that information - I can give you a price
Thanks !

If you were to go from Sonoma County California, Say Santa Rosa, to Quincy in Plumas County with an AA bare bones, 2700 pounds, about 17 ft. long on good tires and it rolls and steers, What would that cost me, just to see if it is better than towing it myself on my double dolly set-up.

Probably too short a haul

I generally haul 1000 miles or more between pick up & drop off.
That is my " break even " point.
I would have to be in the area near your pick up point dropping off.
I would have to have a connecting load once I drop off to pick up
and continue on my way.
The odds of that happening are pretty slim.
There is no way my price to haul would be near your cost to do it yourself.
