I realy thought I would get more response on my attempt to sell Dr. Frank. Perhaps that I was asking too much :?: It's such a great truck, and I'm getting desperate  The best response I've had so far was a fellow from Australia, but he found the import costs too high. Oh well, maybe after Christmas, by the way, wish all a merry Christmas :!:

Don't get dicouraged Bill, It's the Holidays and therefore not a lot of buyers are concentrating on the classics. I used to sell used antique aircraft parts and it seemed like I didn't sell anything from the beginning of November through the end of January. As the temps warm and bank accounts recover so too will the sales of the tin we love. Better luck. Luke

Thanks for the kind thoughts Luke. As you know the "home for sale market" is in the toilet, but we listed anyhow. Four days later we recieved, and accepted a good strong offer! Scary!! I have a space to store Frank, and so, after the house closes I plan to finish assembly of the platform and then relist. I'll include lots of pictures showing the grain sides and the stake sides. Again, merry Christmas!!

Bill, I think Luke is right. I have done a lot of the same things to my truck that you did to yours. I know how much time it took, and I have have an idea of what it cost. I think that is a good truck for the right
person. As a friend of mine would say "there's an ass for every seat" Best wishes.

:( :( :( Dr. Frank got sold, was sad to watch it drive out of my yard. The gentleman that bought it is a friend and a Model A guy. He lives only about 15 miles from my yard, said the truck ran fine all the way home. We will visit VA at least once a year, so I will be able to see the truck. He doesn't plan on changing the truck any, just finish the bed and play with it the way it looks. He has had Model A's all his life, and is very Knowledgeable so I think I found Dr. Frank a good home.
