Hi -

I forgot to say my truck is the 131 inch wheelbase.

And I also need the coupler shaft itself - the spline is too worn on the tranny end.

Thanks.

Vicky,
I have a '30/'31 SWB coupling shaft to sell. Send me an e-mail and I will take pictures of it for you.

coupler shaft

Vicky,
Below is the best of what I have. The screw is one I had made. The spring is not original. All else is original and has some wear. Let me know if you may be interested in all or some of it. Neil may have some with more meat on the teeth. e-mail: mbtowne@adelphia.net

Mike,
Do you have any specifications for the spring you have. I put my truck back together with an original spring but did not take information off of it.

coupler spring

Neil,
I have it written down the measurements. Now all I have to do is find it.
The specs I have are from an original spring. I'll send it out as soon as I find it.

coupler spring

Neil,
The measurements I found are the following.
Lentgh - 1.5 inches
Wire - .090 inches (13 gauge?)
O.D. - .920 inches
I.D. - .740 inches
# coils - 6

I can only assume that the measurements are from origanal springs. I had measuremnts of two springs. One was from my truck which had a slight bend. The other was from a shaft I found with the spring still stuck
in the hole and in very good shape.
The spring I have pictured in the earlier post is not original but the only one I can find that is close to the above measurements.
