Currently yard art, this 1931 open cab is for sale, $1,750. It is most likely good for parts, or for the brave, a restoration. Really, restoration would need two AA's to make this one a complete beast.
Look at the Craigslist ad for details. http://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/cto/3252290714.html

That is a cool looking truck. I would look at it if it was closer.

I like it too. It is not every day you see an open cab AA.

Rumored to be an Early '30 AA...

That is not an open cab. Most likely sold as a running chassis with the cowl and front sheetmetal the rest is aftermarket. Lotsa body builders in the old days to make your car or truck any way you wanted it.

I brought it home today ! They said the motor was stuck but after getting here , I put a the crank handle in and it moved ! ... whew ! Might have it running soon. Body is after market , very well built. Have found the word Olympia written across the roof side ... was told it was an Olympia Brewery truck. The fun begins ....

Hi Paul , I just realized you were the author here ! I'll tell you that with a stuck motor it was going to be yard art. When it moved with the crank handle ... the mechanic in me decided to see if it would run. I spent all day working on it today. I changed the oil , took the side cover off to free one stuck valve , replaced the condensor inside the distributor , it then fired up on starting fliud. I will need to fix the water pump and clean the gas tank before being able to run it at lenth. It was a pleasure dealing with you. Good luck on your 1939 Ford project. I'll be in touch. Jeff
