Well - those express trucks keep showing up. This one has the real 89-A express body. It will be interesting to see how the bidding goes.

Note that the wheel carrier is not an AA carrier. The rear fenders are not AA. It does not have the mounting straps (express body to frame). It does not have the rear fender spacers or the rear fender brackets. The front bumper is the single bar bumper which started production in late 1930.

If the engine is as good as it looks, then there are some $'s of value there.

A lot missing for it to be an express, however the bed looks very good. NO MOUNTING STRAPS = hard to find/expensive. Well that being said all express parts are expensive. Neil and us other Express guys know all about that!! Looks like a good truck. i would drive it how it is and enjoy it for a few years while acquiring the parts then start the big restoration!

The truck sold for $18,100. Pretty steep price to pay for an incorrect truck - hope that means those of us with "correct" trucks can expect lots more for ours!!! :P
If you are not driving your AA truck you might as well be collecting clocks!

lookin-backtexas,

I assume that you have an AA express truck from you comment. I would be interested in some pictures of your AA. Please email them if you would. See my email below.
