boot.....
Re: boot.....
I have recently purchased a boot for the e brake. I hope to get these boots re-produced, as I have to believe that other Folks need them too. I am unaware of anyone making them currently, so, what the heck?

Why make them if you can buy them from Mac's?

Re: boot.....
The left hand E-brake boot is completely different from the boot shown, here is a pic of the blanking plate which shows the shape, they do have the retainer plate also , but no boot.Chris Haynes wrote:Why make them if you can buy them from Mac's?

Re: boot.....
What is the part number for the boot, I can't find it in the parts book.

Re: boot.....
The boot I am referring to is currently not being re-produced. The item Mac's sells is the standard, center, or right side brake boot, like the the one pictured above. The boot I have is oval, but it has a molded bend in it where it meets the angled part of the A pillar. I'm still having trouble with pics, I hope to correct that this weekend.

Re: boot.....
I believe the service part number for the hand brake lever weather pad is A-35239-R per Body Parts List. It is not in the Aug 15, 1930 issue, but appears in the May 1, 1931 issue, page 30.
Re: boot.....
So far I still cannot get pics to post, and no one seems interested in repopping these boots. I will keep trying to post on this site. Rats.................

Happy to hear someone is making these boots. I will stop wasting my time looking for a manufacturer. Rick
