Chris,
So what would one look for as far as differences between early and late 30 frames, is there a chassis break frame # that may help?

The serial number is a big help. I don't have my Judging Standards nearby to look them up. Early '30 ended somewhere around 3340000.

I think partridgekelley over at Ford Barn has one. At least he did when I went up there last year. He's up in Fort Bragg.

Shipping that far is cost prohibitive.

Just trying to help! :?
It cost nothing to post it on uship, and you can also post what you want to pay. I bet for a a hundred or two you get it to you!

My Weaver Auto Ambulace from TX to MA was $350 shipping on uship. :D
