30 31 bumper brackets

Post by fordman88 »

i bought this pair at a swap meet 3 years ago... as i learned a very valuble lesson!! always ask "what it will fit", not "if it will fit". needless to say, i ended up with some parts that wont fit my 29! ive been dragging them around for a long time now and as of yesterday, was able to do some sorting and start looking for other parts that people had asked me about.
i beleive that these are for the 30 - 31 trucks but i could VERY well be wrong! if you know what they are, have any questions, or want to make me an offer just send me a message. im in central Kansas

yea look like 30/31 brackets for that one piece front bumper they had. 28/29 for the standard car bumper had one bumper clamp hole, the 30/31 had 2 holes per side (4 total bolts)

Front bumper brackets for 1930-1931.

There were 1930 AA brackets use thru October. There were 1930-1931 AA brackets used with the AA single bar bumper. There were 1930-1931 AA brackets used with the AA double bar bumper. Attached are pictures of each. The brackets shown above do not match any of these three AA brackets.

Hello Trevor,
Do you have a copy of the green bible?, I looked and found 3 that have that shape 28 thru 37, there are no dimensions listed, there are more in the 28 thru 48 section, best bet is to measure them show bolt hole spacing etc and post them on Fordbarn swap meet, somebody may want them, here is one example.
