What do you think this one is worth and how would you suggest getting it on/off a trailer without the front axel?

portable winch and some plywood under the frame rails? Or forklift under front, back a trailer under the rear wheels, roll it right up.
Value is very subjective, maybe 500+???
If it has matching engine and frame #'s, maybe more?

It looks like somebody lifted it by the headlight bar.

That makes sense. Wonder how much damage they did to it that can't be seen in the photos.

LOL, If they had it would have ripped the fenders right off with that motor still in there.
A complete cab with engine trans and drive-line, missing only the front axle would make a great start for someone.

As to loading, you would want to load it rear end toward the front anyway. In my experience of hauling AA's on trailers, the rear end weighs more than the front, and you want the most weight on the front. Best thing in this case would be a dolly or some other axle under the front. Best to winch it, not push it on. Pushing can easily result in damage.

I spoke with the owner. He has the complete front end with wheels. He simply robbed some spring leaves for another project.

I may take a trip to the coast and see the truck over the break... loading this monster is going to be a challenge for somebody.

 For what it is, the price is one hell of a DEAL.
If it was east of the Mississippi River, we would buy it and at the least part it out over time. :D
