WANTED: Restored Early 30 AA

Post by spdway1 »

Its worth a shot asking - Do you have or know of an Early 30 (Best way to recognize - 28/29 cab style with duel wheels) AA for sale? I prefer restored but will see what options are out there. I can ship in from any place in the US. The rear body style is unimportant. Thank you.

I have a early 30 SWB chassis, can include an engine and tranny, if you are interested. No body or sheet metal, just a good usable chassis. I'm located in Reno, Nevada

This truck is for sale. Did some restoration to her. She runs great!( Old owners hadn't drained out the gas tank in years. UGH. Gas tank was taken off and sandblasted ~ Clean as a whistle now~ )
Didn't realize I would need a bigger garage to house her in NY winters.. Have had her at a few car shows. Nothing else like it there.... Original oak work in most of the stake bed. The boards were planed down.

Kakester,

Is that a '32? What year engine is in it? Where in NY are you located, and how much are you asking?

I think it's a 1933 - doesn't look like the '32 firewall, and the V8 emblem isn't on the hood louvers. Looks nice, and would make someone a great truck. What's the price ?

I think it may have been a 4 cylinder originally.

Just out of curiosity, what is the serial number on the transmission?

sure is pretty - yea these old girls need a bit more wiggle room than your standard cars (of model A era and today) i like to think of our AA's as the 80+ year old version of this modern truck:
