looking for 4 speed snap rings for transmission

i have found output and input shaft bearings. i hate to re use the old snap rings. anyone have any leads. one is 2.5 od and the other is 2-1/8 inch od. these are the outer snap rings. thanks in advance, kevin in ct

Check your local Hardware. Take the old ones along and see if there is a match.

This reply is obviously a little late, but when the restorer rebuilt the transmission on my 30 AA, we did some of the work in my machine shop. We were unable to get snap rings the thicknesses we wanted, so we ground down thicker ones on my surface grinder. For what it's worth that is information for the "next time." John Losch
