MODEL A TRANS W/ CHAIN DRIVE ATTACHMENT
I have for sale a Model A transmission case with a rare chain drive PTO. It works smoothly and the case is fine.

Interesting, is the PTO a part of the trans case and how do you disengage
the PTO? It looks like it runs off of the reverse idler gear.

Yea definitely interesting but how would you enaguge/disengauge it? Unless it was stuck to a dual high afterwards that could put the vehicle in neutral...I cant think of anything that would use a chain drive PTO only in reverse while the vehicle was moving

Hi. Not sure how you'd disengage it but perhaps it was hooked to a gearbox on some stationary equipment which had an in-out type lever.
