I need a serviceable radiator for a 1930 AA truck.Bill

Need to know "the long and the short of it" ... Early or late 1930

FYI - The radiator used for the AA's through June 1930 was the same size as the 1929 radiator. Starting March 1930 – June 1930 (with the 76-A open cab, 82-A closed cab, and 85-A panel delivery) radiator AA-8005 was used. This radiator was the same size as the 1929 radiator with the following:

• • Water filler neck – threaded (same as 1929 A chassis radiator)
  • Tubes – oblong, 4 rows, 35 per row, 140 tubes total (+2 dead side tubes supporting fins)

The radiator used starting June 1930 (with the 76-B and 82-B cabs) was an AA radiator with the same height as the A chassis 1930-1931 radiator.

Considering the number of AA's you see with A radiators and the fact that you almost
never see AA radiators on Ebay you are probably better off getting a new one from Brassworks.

I would love to find a radiator of even just a top tank with a twist on cap for my May 1930 AA.

My FYI post of Sept 8th above was incorrect in indicating that some 1929 style radiators used for AA's in 1930 had the twist on cap since all have the threaded cap. I have corrected my information in the Sept 8th post.

I guess I will drop out a lot of facts but no help
