Your profile shows you have a 1929 AA and you are looking for 1930-31 hub caps is that correct?

OK, sounds like you have an early 1930, they used 1928-29 sheet metal until mid 1930.esemans55 wrote:Yes we have a 29 A front , made into 30/31 when Hale fire truck company got it . We have the screw in type .

Re: wanted dust caps for 1929/30 aa screw in type
First time poster, here. Was researching sme dust caps that I got and I know they are not for my T or TT as they have the external threads. Seems like they might be the ones you are looking for. I researched this for afriend that has a case of 26 or so of these, alledgely NOS, although they are all painted OD green. He is in the military parts business and that is why he got them. The paint came right off with a steel wool pad and it looks like blackened nickle or steel underteach. No dings or marks where the hub tool would go, so they sure look nice.
If you think they would work for you, I'll put the two of you together or I'll get one more from him and sell you the two.
Would be intereseted to know exactly what years and what trucks these fit so I can pass on the information to him. Let me know how to help.

Robert, I think those caps fit 1939-47 1.5 ton trucks part # 91T-1139 2 5/8"-16 thread.
Looks like they were used at least into the mid 50's on F5 and F6 part number seems to have
changed to A8TZ-1131-C in the 1956 parts book.
