Re: wanted worm gear 31 teeth
Hi. I found a loose 29 tooth set here but have 4-5 complete diffs. Is there a way to ID them w/o taking them apart? I have a bunch of other stuff like wheels (all styles) trans parts... Please don't ask for a drip mouldling for a closed cab.... none of that stuff.

back side of housing on the drivers side has a stamp on it. "A" or "B". About 8" from center line of axel, on the cone shape part, just before the rivets. "A" is low speed as on my truck. I had a hard time fining it but it was there, Faint, but there. A = 29 teeth. Low speed.
