i have an express bed, 28, complete with side mount spare, except no chains. one rear fender bracket. needs to be repaired from horizontal groove on side down and headboard. I just repaired one in same condition. A good start for a very rare bed. I am in CT, $1850 plus shipping.

I have one in about the same condition. I need to find someone to reproduce the rusted away bottom part.

I had a local sheet metal company roll the side radius and then bend the lower section to fit the wood support. They were able to bend at the correct angle to make it fit correct on the frame. I got the drawing from the aa truck web site. I used 14 gauge mild steel. They are limited to 8’ lengths as there roller is only 8’. They are located in kalamazoo Michigan. Allied Mechanical Sheetmetal- Larry Decker. Cost was 250.00 for pair three years ago.

not sure if 1500 would attract any attention. i know the spare holder can go for 4 or 500. good tailgate 300, sides are good start, headboard a start, and one rear fender bracket, hard to come by. any interest at 1500? my bed came out beautiful with new sides butt welded from the horizontal groove down.

would like to see bed put to use. I would take 1200 for it. pictures are in this thread. hope all is well. kevin in ct please note, needs extensive repair, but can be done. I completed the same last year in order to have an original bed.

You said you already repaired one in this condition. I am sure it would be a lot easier to sell if it was repaired. I know I have one like it that is beyond my ability to repair.
