WTB Early AA spindle bolt locking pins

Post by Rumbler »

I'm looking for a pair of 1928 AA spindle bolt locking pins. Please see the attached photo. These would be the early version where the lock pin is one-piece with the head, which serves as the spindle stop. The head is a little longer than the "A" version, as shown in the picture. The pin is fastened by a nut and cotter at the threaded end (front of the axle).

Thanks for looking!
Brian

I just had a set machined for me by a friend here in town. He lathed them out of 5/8" HEX shaft. He did an excellent job and are as original. If you can find a machinist I am sure you could have a set made also. If not I can see if my guy can make another set. I am located in Lakin, Kansas, the southwest part of Kansas.
