Cleaning out our stash

Post by Reds34 »

My father is coming to the realization that the stash needs to get thinned out. It's a collection 50+ years in the making. We have mostly truck stuff and mostly running gear. We do have a '32 long wheel base with a 4 cylinder and some wire, reverse dish and Budd wheels. We do have a couple stake beds and at least 1 hydraulic dump bed. We also have some early V8 running gear likes frames and axles. If you want to build a doodlebug, we can help with that. Let me know what you're looking for and I'll see what we have. The stash is located in north central Connecticut 30 minutes outside Hartford.

I'm looking for some rear rims, singles or duals, along with roller or drive able tires, if I can afford them, hah. My fronts are disc wheels but I'd go for wire spoke if they were cheap enough or all that I can find
Also, what are you asking for your dump bed? I'm up in Vermont, thanks.

Bond___vagabond,

What axles do you have on your truck? Depending on which axles you have, you may not want to switch rims. Let me talk to my father and see when I can get some photos and a price. Whereabouts are you in Vermont? I have some family up there.

Do you have any spring perches that are in good shape for sale? The truck I’m working on is a 31 Express

Shiloh8548,

I'm sure we have some spring perches. I'm pretty sure all of them are still in axles. I don't know what kind of shape they're in though. I haven't been over there in a while, so I'll have to make a list of stuff to search for.

Do you have any chassis parts for an early 1928 AA? Front or rear motor mounts, front shock absorbers, arms , seal covers or links, wire wheel with lock ring, to name a few?

THANKS,

Jim
