AA with banjo style rear axle

I happened to be parusing Craigslist and found this. It's not mine and I don't know who is selling it. I think it's a high price considering the condition, but thought it's cool with the rear axle.

It is an Early 1930. They all have Banjo rear ends.

Actually, 1/30 is when a new bevel gear type rear axle started (see 2nd image). The rear axle for 1928—1929 which was also a bevel gear type and sometimes referenced as a banjo (see 1st image) was only used for a short time period. I think it was used in early 1929 only (just my opinion).

January 1930 sounds like Early 1930 to me.

I am not confused at all. As Neil said the Banjo style appeared in January 1930. The new 1930 cab didn't appear til June 1930.
