ORIGINAL WORKING 1930 AA DUMP TRUCK

Post by AATRUCKMAN » March 30th, 2008, 4:12 pm

HEY FELLOW AA TRUCKERS,

HAVE A LOOK AT MY NEWEST ADDITION TO THE AA TRUCK FORUM. THIS IS THE TRUCK I WAS TRYING TO GET A RIDE FOR FROM CALIFORNIA. I WAS CONTACTED TODAY BY A DRIVER IN OAKLAND WHO WILL BE COMING BACK HOME TO ALABAMA.HE NEEDED TO FILL A TRUCK, SO NOT TO DEAD HEAD BACK. LUCKY ME. I'LL LET YOU KNOW IF HE WORKS OUT WELL AS FAR AS PRICE IF ANY ONE WANTS TO KNOW.
I FOUND THIS TRUCK WHILE LOOKING FOR A PTO MECHANISM FOR MY AA TRUCK I ALREADY HAD. I STUMBLED ONTO THIS DUMPER BY SHEER LUCK. A 1930 AA DUMP TRUCK. UP TIL NOW, I HAD NEVER SEEN ONE, ESPECIALLY WITH THE FACTORY CORRECT DUMP BED ON IT AS WELL AS ALL MECHANICAL PARTS FOR THE DUMPER. IT'S TRULY A RARE FIND. IF ANY ONE ELSE HAS ONE OR AT LEAST SEEN ONE, I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR ABOUT IT. I SAW A FELLOW WHO HAD AN ACTUAL CEMENT MIXER ON THIS FORUM, I WONDER HOW MANY DIFFERENT KINDS OF BEDS AND TRUCK CONFIGURATIONS WE CAN COME UP WITH ON THIS FORUM. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE EVERYONE SUBMIT A PICTURE TO ME IF YOU WOULD. MY EMAIL ADDRESS IS AMHANDYMAN@BELLSOUTH.NET . I AM GOING TO KEEP A PICTORIAL RECORD OF ANY ORIGINAL BODY TYPE FOR OTHER MEMBERS WHO MIGHT HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT WHAT THEIR TRUCK SHOULD LOOK LIKE. PLEASE HELP WITH YOUR COLLECTIVE PICTURES AND KNOWLEDGE.
