Wanted - 1931 AA Rear Axle Center Caps
Hey,
New guy here, looking for a set of rear axle center caps for a 1931 AA I'm building. Whether you have some or know where I can get some, I would sure appreciate any help I can get.
Here is one of the axle nuts I'm trying to cover:
Here's my project:
I wish I would have found this forum a lot sooner. I'm sure it could have saved me some time and money (and headaches).
Thanks,

HOLY BALLS! If that's the going rate for these, I may have to just go without. Those are way too nice to go on my truck, but thanks for responding Bud.bud valerius wrote:I have a set for sale , they have been cadium plated $250.....
Do you have any that are just serviceable, instead of perfect?

The $250 is for the set of 4.two fronts & two rears .I will look to see if I have any serviceable but I don't think I have any . Bud
Re: Wanted - 1931 AA Rear Axle Center Caps
That truck looks too nice to put a set of old axle caps on it. Most all of the old unrefinished caps are dented and rusty. Bud's price is a good price for a full set of cad plated hub caps. $62.50 each. I'd pay it if I needed them.

if you're OK with almost right or just have a driver then you can get chrome TT hub caps from snyder's that fit the rear of the AA. the look almost the same.
$14.94 each... part # T-2819-T

Re: Wanted - 1931 AA Rear Axle Center Caps
My research shows that the TT cap is smaller than the AA hub. Maybe my research is wrong. Has anyone tried to use the TT cap or have the ID and thread information?

saw a set on e-bay also i see no one responded to knuck, its not a 31 bumper there, ive seen the site of this rebuild and its looking nice , do you have a link with more pics, i cant get enough of seeing what others have gone through.
Re: Wanted - 1931 AA Rear Axle Center Caps
i bought the TT caps from Snyder's and they fit and look great... the average joe wouldn't know they didn't belong.
the length of the cap and threads are the same. the only diffrence is the logo and the hex head is a little smaller on the TT
