I recently borrowed a book from a friend of mine titled "Ford trucks since 1905" published 1978. It has many good photos I haven't seen in other books. I have scanned a page and tried to enlarge it as much as I could that shows a photo of a '31 AA service car with dual wheels. All the photos printed in the book appear to be taken "back in the day"

Wow, thanks for the snarky reply. Perhaps you could show a little tact with your posts. It is not the first time you have shown your abrasiveness here. Some people put a little bit of effort taking/scanning pictures for others to view and enjoy and make their own comments on. Keep in mind, like you should have learned as a child "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all".
I scanned the photo to show that service cars with duals were around when new. Perhaps some of the other members will appreciate it. I understand "specially equipped" does not neccessarily mean that it rolled off the line that way, but it does mean that some were prepared that way.

modeleh, I also borrowed that book. It has some very interesting photos, and captions. Lots of different bodies available for the AA's, and of course BB's. Eh?

Maybe I could have summed it up with "take off, eh" like Bob and Doug MacKenzie used to say. But it is water under the bridge, now it's time to get back to talking trucks.
Yes Tom, I would say it is the best pictorial book on Ford trucks that I have found. The author is James K Wagner, I'm guessing it's out of print, but I'd recommend it for any of you others if you ever come across one. It is a hardcover, coffee table kind of book. I wish I were able to enlarge the scans bigger, but they come out grainy and hard to read the captions, but I do bother to read the text under the photos  . There are lots of good pictures of the tractor trailer setups used with the AAs and BBs. The topic of trailer brakes had come up in a different thread, and although their is no detail in this book on how the systems were engineered, the photos of the car haulers, box trailers, and tanker trailers, makes a guy dream of taking an AA without a deck, putting a fifth wheel hitch on it, and building a small trailer to haul other collectables to the shows with. There is a picture of an impressive streamlined enclosed car hauler made from "Dow Metal", apparently a magnesium alloy widely promoted at the time. I googled Dow metal and came up with a picture you can all see, on Pg 28 if you click on the link below. It isn't the streamlined trailer, but still a neat pic.

As long as we are on the subject of stock dual wheels, does any one know if the 32 express body was offered with duals?

Snarky? I am not sure I know what that means.
Sorry, I am just a person who is direct and to the point. I was simply pointing out that you apparently hadn't read the information you posted.
