The Chopper 1 Axe is made in the USA. It's a wonderful splitting axe. It has two spring loaded fingers in the head preventing it getting stuck in a log. It has USA in raised letters on the head. Available on-line. I've had mine since the earth cooled; now only available on line from the inventor.

Sheet metal parts for our AA's and other A's as well as V8's & some Chevy's are available at Howell's Sheet Metal in Beaumont Texas. They make them all in their own shop and the quality is pretty good. I have had real problems in the past with delivery but the last two orders I sent them I had in 4-5 days. There prices are also lower than Mac's, Bratton's etc.

For other items I try to look here first before I buy. No sense in buying Levis and send my money to Mexico when you have a pretty good selection of bluejean manufactures still doing business in the USA.

If you are looking for an American made drill motor you are pretty much SOL.

Howell's makes lousy parts and they have no type of customer service. They won't return E mail or phone calls. F#%K Howell's.
