This is my 31 meat packers express. Briggs body #239-A. Has anyone ever seen one in real life before? I haven't even seen any pictures of other ones. I would like any information available or pictures if anyone has any. I can't seem to make this picture my avatar, because it is ?too big?
That being said, it Has been in the family Since the early 70's when it was given to my father in high school by a very good family freind who had too many vehicles. He started restoring it while still in highschool, doing a cab-off restoration. Rebuilt engine himself. He rebuilt the wood bed using all the original iron pieces, including the chain on the back. Now, it is mine, and after replacing the dist. this summer, It runs great, and I put 600 miles on it before putting it away for winter.
Well, I was going to put a picture up, but it keeps telling me it is too big, and when I try the lesser quality one, it says that the extension is not allowed. Is there anywhere on this forum for a photo album? I cannot find it.

Hello me0418840987,
If you e-mail me your pictures to neilwilson2@comcast.net, then I will use Photoshop to modify them to be acceptable on the forum. I am interested in seeing your truck as I have never seen a live example of the cargo body.
Attached is a Ford archive photograph of this body type.
