The 28-31 AA came equiped with front shock absorbers, part# A-18015-8
I believe your reference to CCPU is the Closed Cab Pick/up? Which is a Model A.

Only the AA's through 1929 came with front shocks. And the shocks are A parts. The spring perches are different for the AA and carry an AA part id.

Yea, I forgot that the arms are AA unique. And, there were several different designs.

I have heard that in 1931 some models of AA had front shocks. Hearse's and Parlor panels if I heard correctly.

As far as I know, some of the '31 AA's (like the ambulance) came with rear shocks.

Do you know what the part# is for the AA perches? I just realized I installed the wrong ones in my '29 AA truck :(

Thanks in advance -

They are easily identified as there is an AA on them and the ball sits up higher than an A. They are hard to come by.

Hello Elfox,
The part # is AA 3030 AR, I do not see a # stamped on the one I have , the best way to know is they have AA stamped on them and the ball is set higher, see attached pic,------ Should you find an extra one let me know, I have every thing ready to install except one perch.
Regards Brian.
