Well, the cabs back on, new top wood and cover, body back on the chassis, doors fit, all new wiring, front brakes done. So first thing this morning I turned her over and it runs I drove it up and down our street a few times, the clutch needs work, hopefuly, just adjustment, and 2nd and 3rd gear realy growls at me. I had the top off the tranny and all the gears looked nice and clean, so I suppose the noise is bearings. Anyway, I have another 4 speed so maybe I can make one good one out of the two.
Early in the day I chickened out and put'er back in the shop, BIG storm coming, the area got hit pretty hard, but here on the peninsula we were lucky. I didn't hear of any serious damage. In fact we only got 1.2" of rain. Plenty damage both North and South of us reported, sadly with some deaths. All quiet now, the storms have moved on out to sea.

Thanks Dave, we have friends, from Lake Co. CA, droping by today, and the weather is finally good, so i'll back'er out of the shop and take a couple pictures. Bill James

I plan to leave the body as is, as much as I can. Neil informed me that the platform and grain doors that was on it is from a TT, and that this was not unusual. I kinda like the look of the TT platform with the Ford Truck script on the back. It's also in pretty good shape. Now I get to go to work getting it mounted back on the chassis. All the bars around here are missing me, going brook

That truck has some good tin.
