Chatted with you several times over the past couple of years. I'm nearing the point I will drive it around the block for the first time. I'm still thinking of finding a manual crank dump or put the platform body back on. I have been very lucky with this truck it was in very good condition, no rust. Any thoughts on a dump body.

WoW! That looks great! nice job. I am working on a 28 with spoke wheels just like yours, and I'am putting a platform with a hand crank on mine. I like the looks of the platform.
Great job you have done. I hope my truck will look that nice. Would like to see more pictures.

Please send me a high resolution photograph of your rack for lowering the cab onto the chassis. That looks like a great idea. I assume that one person can lift and lower the cab?

I too am interested in seeing more of your "tower" there.

Was wondering how it's supported laterally, so's it doesn't lay over sideways.

Nothing like a 28 ... Is yours the early left hand brake lever model ? Plus the wire wheels give a look that suits the 28 .. gotta Love It

Harry you are right the hand brake is on the left, the brakes work perfect. See my follow up on lifting the cab.
