T-shirts

Post by tiredtruckrestorer »

Hey Neil,

Where did Dan and Lisa Gambill get those T-shirts they are wearing on page 21 of the Double A'er? Are they something they had made up? I still have the one I bought from you years ago with the stake truck pictured that I save for "special occasions". Maybe it could be a neat club project. Then we could spot other AA'ers at some of the shows or meets.

What did you do with your AA Club decal? You can buy more!

Keith,
Dan said he got the t-shirts made at Walgreens (I don't know the cost). I need to check into the cost of getting some made up. I have just about used up all of the t-shirts that I had made with the '29 AA stake truck. That was about 15 years ago it seems.

Maybe AA'ers can respond on this subject - how many are interested?
Regards, Neil Wilson

Neil:

I'd be interested in purchasing a couple of AA T-shirts. I'd rather had them with the later styel cab though.

I'd like a shirt or two as well. Of course, I prefer the '28-'29 style.

I agree with Boomer. One or two shirts, 28-29 style works for me!

I stopped by two companies which produce T-shirts with screened images and got some basic information (including their email address). I plan on sending each a image of the club logo (see attached) to get a cost and quantity requirements. To have T-shirts made with either a '28 to mid '30 style cab or a mid '30 to '31 cab would mean two separate runs. So, I just have to see what they say.

Thanks Neil for looking into this. I think it will be great advertising for the club. It also helps in flea markets when vendors can see what you're interested in. Often times I've had them say to me that they had some AA parts at home but didn't bring them along because they were too heavy. You know what happens next. By the way, I'll take a couple T-shirts too.

I also would be interesteed in purchasing a couple of shirts. I prefer the '30-'31 style.

Neil, Nice Logo, I wonder if there is room on it for a second truck, 82b style below the 29? I know it's allot of work to alter the logo, but it would be more representative then?
I know, I know, evertone has an opinion, they are like a$$^&%, we all have them!! :))
