Took the truck back to the farm

Here are a couple of before and after shots of our truck in September of 2006 and again on July 7th, 2012. We tried to place everyone in the same spots in the new photos to show how much our kids have grown as well (and maybe how the adults have fared over 5+ years, too). Pictured are my wife, kids and my wife's dad and uncle who drove the truck when they were growing up. More pics to come...

Very nice job on your truck! It looks like you started out with many parts missing and still ended up with a complete truck.
A lot of work, well done. Thanks for sharing your pictures.

Oldman,
In the third picture you can see most of the parts are on the back of the truck so it was really only missing the front bumper and the mirror, but a lot of parts weren't useable. Rear fenders, brake rods, splash shields, 2 of the bed boards, etc.
I still have some tweaking to do and some finishing but the light is pretty bright at the end of the tunnel after a long 6 years.
Thank you all for the compliments,
Drew

When you have AA "FEVER", you are lucky to get your pants buttoned up, let alone painting the compound!!!

I just had to say how much I like these pictures. A beautiful truck and a beautiful story.

(Also, by posting this will come to the front again for anyone who may have missed it the first time.)
