AAs at the Orange county model A club pancake breakfast

Post by Brian T »

Well it was a good day at the Orange county pancake breakfast yesterday for Double As, two winners in best commercial took first pace, myself for 28-29 and Mike James for 30-31.

Mike is from Fontana Ca, and so is his truck, it was sold by a Ford dealer there to a vineyard in 1931 and used for many years, it as never been out of the area, it was purchased by Mikes brother from the vineyard with the intentions of restoring it but he lost interest, Mike then purchased it from him and made it the way it is today, I believe this would be a high point truck at MAFCA or a MARC meet should he want to enter.

This was the 52nd year that the Orange county model A club as put on this event, over 200 model As and 50 or more other vehicles, all car shows are fun, but more so when you receive a token of your efforts.

Awsome trucks Brian! Thanks for posting theses shots.
Do you know if mike has more picture of his restoration and finish?
I am building the same truck and I would love some help in the finished look.
You should both be commended for the jobs you've done, the willingness to get them out enjoy them, and share them with the public. Well done!
