By the way guys, this is what I started with. When my friend and I drove up the driveway with my "new" prize neatly stacked in his pickup, my sweet wife stuck her head out of the house and said "you paid HOW much for that?" Now she is seeing the value as it comes together.
The box is not an express box (I wish it was). The seller just threw that in and it is from a regular A pickup.
It would be nice to make this an express, but I don't think I'm willing to pay the price. I will decide on a bed when I get there.
Any ideas on a good homemade wooden stake bed?

More from the day I bought it. (Not the farm) :)

some of the rubber sets are thicker that the original ones.

The frame is also thicker on the trucks than the A cars so the spacers are to short, the only kit available is for the cars.

Your right Brian, I didn't think of that. I looked in the parts book and they do have different part numbers.

That's a Model T pick up box you have there. Not an A.

Brian And Bob,

So are the motor mount bolts for the trucks longer too?

Yes, I had to use the old bolts and make up some new ones when I rebuilt mine.

The parts book shows Model A is 1 3/8", 28-30 AA is 1 7/8", and 30-31 AA is 1 1/2".
I wonder why the different length for the AA.
