I'm going at t and yes this heat is extreme 108* outside right, But I'm inside under the AIR. Got a good bite done before lunch, only up to 96*. What I'm picturing here, I did in less than 2 hrs. by myself today. suppose to be 96*at 9 PM tonight. tomorrow is next

I've got some more of the building together. got the back wall sheeted up and one side wall/window and door openings. the other sidewall needs 2 more 14' sheets of tin and it will be finished. like finishing the rear gable with 2 sheets and all the front sheeting trim and roof Some Shelby, Sacramento

What are you using for insulation ?

Does he need it in Sacramento? How cold does it get there? I suspect he might want it for sound attenuation at least so he doesn't piss off the neighbors.

Most of those kit companies supply the stuff in rolls. You really can't hang anything on the walls with out ripping the stuff. It's ususally a vynal product that comes in 4'0 rolls if I remember.

I was thinking of 1"or 2"foil backed foam. then I'll have to put in a metal liner to keep sparks for. I've only been in Ca. 2 1/2 yrs. the coldest I,ve seen it here in Sacramento was 28*. But I haven't ever seen Houston flood like it did. Anything is possible to change with the weather. This picture is where I left off today. All I have is to put up both gable ends, trim and the roof. This is about all that I got done today. I got both gable ends in today and I got the two front corner trim on. It's been so hot. Today was 93*, I worked 10 mins. and cooled 20 mins. After all I'm doing all this work by myself. Tomorrow I will start putting on the roof. Few miner things to do before I start with the roof. Tomorrow it will be much cooler so maybe I can work 20 mins. and cool for 10 mins. Here are 2 pictures that I got done Shelby, Sacramento

in 1169 photo I had a 1" X 4" clamped in the middle to of the sheet to hold the tin in place with two magnets holding the ends in place. What you can do when you are determined to get something done

Today was kinda cool 85* Got all the roof on. I still had to take regular breaks to keep cool. 8-12 I received the building kit, around 5 PM. today 9-17 got the roof completed. No bad for a 72 yr. young man all by myself. Here is a finish picture/ roof complete Shelby, Sacramento

I've been working on the electrical the last 2 days. Not to much to show there but I'll have plenty of receptacles. 9 of the 110 recpt. and 2 220v recpt. for my welder plus I have a 100' cord also for my welder. I still have to get my 8'X10' garage door. For now I'm working on the electrical with 6- 4' LED lights in the ceiling. More later Shelby, Sacramento

Got my 10' X 8' garage door yesterday. I've got a few more adjustments then wind the spring to help lift the door and put the seal around the out side of the door. Then I'll call the city to get my perm finalized. The I'll put in a work bench across the back then start working on my 'A' Shelby, Sacramento
