Took the AA to work Yesterday

Post by KingGeorge »

I took my 1929 AA to work yesterday for our annual fish fry and everyone seemed to enjoy seeing it. (most people had never seen one). A photograph with our admin staff on the back is attached.

Nice looking truck!

I just finished putting up a new shelter for my AA project, getting it out of the shop and into this new outdoor thing will allow me to finish the body work and paint.

Thanks.

It was pretty much done when I got it. I've only had it about 4 months. I bought it on ebay and held my breath until it was delivered.

So far, all I've done is mechanical work on it. New head gasket, new intake and exhaust manifold, carburator, ....

A better picture of the truck is attached.

Bud,
No, this is my first AA. My name is George Ross. The king part is a nickname from the lab techs at work.

Nice Truck...

I am about to go and pick-up my 30 AA stakebed that I bought off CL in July 2006 in Vinton California, where they have graciously stored it for me all this time...

I'll have it By August 20th!!!

It is very rough, but is supposed to be complete.
