I have been reading the letters my uncle wrote home from WWII. His plane was shot down over the South Pacific. Pretty tough reading some of the letters. In one letter he spoke about the opportunity to take a job as ground maintenance, a much safer job. His answer was if everyone takes a safe job, how can we win this war?
