32 Express Body

Post by TomH »

Is there anyone on this site that has a 32 with Express body. I think they are pretty rare. Here are some pics of our slightly abused express.

Tom:

In the late 1970's, I sold what was left of a BB to a guy named John Gillen in Santa Paula, California. It's bed (no telling what it had been) had been remove and the truck turned into a "Cheery Picker". Probably for use in a junk yard. It had a big ol' heavy-duty winch mounted behind the cab. I think it's the only BB I've ever seen. Good luck with finding somebody else with an Express Body, but I'm certain there must be a few more of them out there.

That express body was used from late 1931 to 1934 (body 195 A ) I have a 1931 with dual wheels , Neil Wilson also has a 195 A with single rear wheels . There are 3 BB's express trucks in Chicago that I know about, yours apears to have about 4 inches cut off the front. Bud Valerius
