A knowledgeable man was just here looking at my fenders for dual wheels. He spotted that they were either widened or narrowed as there is a visible weld inside and in the center of the fenders from front to rear. I guess someone had single wheels and wanted duals.

I am sure they will work. They are the correct fender. They were simply widened for dual wheel use. So far I have seen no evidence that Ford made dual wheel fenders. Aftermarket companies did though.

AA16312 and AA16313 (Fender (rear) assembly (dual) 195A,197A,280A,285A and 300A are Ford made fenders. Ford also made eye brow shaped fenders for the ice wagon model 199A and heavy duty express 242A. This fender was for dual wheels and is part AA16403.(fits both sides) Sincerely, Ed Hayslip

We are talking '30/'31 fenders here. In lookin at the Ford Truck Since 1905 book I don't see any duals on '30/'31 Express, Panel, or Service Car bodies.

Yes, but all he mentioned are 1928/1929 bodies. I am talking 1930/1931 Express, Panel and Service bodies. Stake and Grain trucks in '30/'31 didn't have rear fenders according to the information I have.

Looking in my book I see the 195A is a SWB Express shown with single wheels. 197A is a LWB Express shown with single wheels. The 280A is an ambulance shown with single wheels. The 300A is also shown with single wheels.
The only model I find a photo of with dual wheels is a 1931 Briggs Body 210A.
