Hmm - What is a brake adjusting shaft? Maybe you mean brake adjusting wedge???? What year of AA? Front or rear service brakes?

Hello Terry,
I am sure you have a parts price book, look at the illustrations and post the part # and cross check between the A and your 29 AA which I believe you need it for.

The Part # for a Model A 1928-31, is A-2042 and Truck is AA-2042
Maybe someone can tell you if they are larger than the ones used on the 1/2 Ton or Car Brakes, I don't know, as I have yet to open up and rebuild the Brakes on my Truck.
Smith & Jones has them listed, as NOS

These are the clevises that mount on the end of the brake shoe and rest against the brake adjusting wedge.
