Selma Swap Meet tomorrow, early intel reports
The Selma swap meet is tomorrow, anybody planning on going for a walk in the rain?
My agents on the ground are telling me there is AA stuff laid out already.

The photo appears to be a cut down A car(coupe or two door) with 1940 Ford car wheels (not AA lug pattern). Note the doors do not have the edge bead found on A & AA truck cabs (type 82A).

You are right, it's an A, not AA.
Here's the next one, is this a TT rear end and what was the Rocky Mountain 5 (or 6) speed transmissions purpose? Picture attached.

Hello Fred,
Your pix show that the rain held off as the parts are dry, did it stay that way?, I was due to come up today but I had some leg surgery yesterday, hopefully next year, anyhow was there much early Ford stuff, we were at the Big 3 last weekend but did not find much, keep us posted.

My Dad and Brother were out there, said the rain held off but for a few sprinkles here and there. Made it a less crowded walk. They got a bunch of stuff, including a muffler and bolt sets to get my Dad's coupe frame running. Also got another motor to learn to work on.
Looks like the Rocky Mountain transmission is missing some critical parts, but that's just more stuff to hunt for.

I posted some pictures from the Turlock meet this weekend, threat of rain kept some people away, but it was still a fun outing.

The back glass looks to be out of a '35-36 on the depression era truck. Fred you mentioned you were working on A coupe. I'm Working on one also a "31(Was a rust bucket). I'm in need of a rumble lid if you or anyone one has one to get rid of. I need to get it finished So I can get my AA back in my shop Shelby, Louisiana.

This one was also a rust bucket, but every day that goes by there is less rust. The frame should be driving around the orchard some time this spring, I plan on posting some videos and pictures of the challenges/success/failures as it goes. My dad and brother have done some serious work on it this winter. Here is a link to it.
