Front brake part
I am finally putting the front end in the truck. It is a October 29 with the car type front brakes. While going thru the bag of parts, I don't remember where this part goes. Help! Mac.. Sorry for the LARGE PHOTO ?

Re: Front brake part
Mac, That is a grease slinger that goes in after you have put in your grease packed bearing on the inner bearing in the hub Shelby, Louisiana.

Re: Front brake part
Does that part fit the outside opening of the hub? If it does, then it would be tapped onto the hub after the outer wheel bearing is inserted. I think I have seen this before. Anyone else?

Re: Front brake part
I think it goes on the spindle before your inner bearing. Brattons calls it the front hub inner dust seal. Just a guess

Re: Front brake part
Reds34,
The part you reference is not the same part which macswoods showed. The part you reference is pressed onto the spindle.

Thanks Neil. I had pictures of the Tear down of the truck years ago but the hard drive
crashed and then I got CRS. You are a wealth of AA information. Mac...
