WANTED: Hub Puller
I am needing a successful heavy duty hub puller. Do you have one to sell or know where I can purchase one. My sources to build one here is very limited.
Thank you.

Do you want to pull a AA Ford rear brake drum, or something else?

Re: WANTED: Hub Puller
i used the largest 3 jaw one harbor freight had. used a 17mm wrench and a 6 foot cheater pipe to get it to come off. someone turned the brake adjusting wedge in all the way so the shoe pins fell behind the wedge, brakes were permanently stuck on...
came in a set of 3 or 4. all seem to be of decent quality (great price for quality ratio for how very little i ever use a puller)

Re: WANTED: Hub Puller
The NAPA stores used to sell a heavy duty three jaw puller. Only thing, the holes are too small to fit the AA wheel studs. I just drilled mine out to fit. Just saw one in a flea market at the ATCA Macungie Truck Show this weekend. Didn't check the price because I didn't need one.

Re: WANTED: Hub Puller
George McMurtry Bayard NE makes heavy duty custom hub pullers. I spent last weekend with George getting a high window ford script 82-a from Billings MT. He is a retired machinist, and now is a go to guy with antique car people in the area. If George can't fix it you need a new part. His web site is customhubpullers.com. If you have problems pulling hubs George will help with advise on the phone.

Re: WANTED: Hub Puller
If you have an old wheel you can make one like I did.
I welded a piece of channel iron so you can beat on when
the lining is stuck to the drum.

I got lucky and found a genuine K R Wilson hub puller for the 1930-1933 AA and BB models on eBay.

Chris,
Does that K.R. Wilson hub puller you have screw on like a hub cap and have a pinch bolt to tighten it on the threads?

No.
It bolts on to all of the lug bolts.

Re: WANTED: Hub Puller
This the hub puller that I had made at a machine shop. If you go to a machine shop to get one made, if you have a hub off bring it with you. They will have the threads of the hub to make the puller. I didn't have one, I brought the hub cap that screwed on it and the machinist made a stub shaft with threads using the cap as a pattern. He charged me $35 to make it. I picked up a 1" grade 8 bolt from a fastener shop for the pull power. It worked great, both rear hubs came off very easily, may be I didn't even need a puller Shelby, Louisiana.

Re: WANTED: Hub Puller
I paid about $300.00 less than that for mine. But then again that guy wants 20 bucks for a decal.
