I know this is a little off your topic, but I am new and need a set of restorable "Disc" Wheels like you show in your pics.
I have a 32 AA Mail truck in very rough condition. I just bought the tires and tubes I need to get my Dually on the road, but my wheels are not salvageable.
How do I use this forum to find 4 if not 6 wheels for my truck.

What is the diameter of the hole in the center of your 32 wheels? I have a set of NOS BB wheels and snap rings for 1933 through 1937 BB trucks for sale. The AA wheels have a smaller center hole and the lug hole pattern is smaller.

Hey Mike, Thank you very much! I just priced the Snap-On socket at $65.
Although I have a tool box full of Snap-On but that is a bit much.
Thank you again. That's what I call Friendly!!!

You should look for an original wheel nut wrench and handle. It has the 1-1/2" hex on one end and the square on the other end. Most that I see on Ebay are shorter than what is specified in the Judging Standards. But, they would work just fine and are usually cheap. A metal rod (maybe 3/4") can be used as the handle.
Thanks Neil, I'll start looking, but for now, when I get that socket from Mike I'll be able to get those old rusty wheels off and see if I can save them or not.
By the way, I'm not sure if i am patient enough to build a judgeable vehicle, like you guys, but I'm going to start out and give it a shot.

EVERY Model A reference work that I've read, including the Judging Standards, emphasise that as improvments/modifications/other changes were made to the Model A, rather than being sent to the scap pile, the 'obsoleted' parts were transferred to the Commercial line and used up there. Hence the 7-tooth steering gear on my late '31 flat-deck.
This was even more evident in Model A or AA made outside the USA.
I have never seen any Ford documentation stating that obsoleted part were used up on the commercial A's and AA's. However, there is lots of information regarding the change over from the '28/'30 82-A closed cab to the '30/'31 82-B closed cab.
I don't have any information regarding non USA units.

Hello Mike,
As you should know by now, I got that beautiful Socket from you a week after I sent you my info.
It worked fantastic, and with the help of my 3/4" breaker bar, I had all my wheels off in no time.
I also located 6 Correct Bud wheels locally, and got them for $100. The owner was a very cool cat and had tons of projects, so I helped him by taking the wheels off of axles he was sending to the smelter.
Thank you for your help and that of everyone in this community!!!

Hard to tell for sure, but that bed looks a lot like mine. Horizontal hydraulic cylinder? Mine has 2 L shaped levers under the right passenger that operate the lift. They face opposite directions.
