Body Blocks and rubber
I am getting ready to install the cab back on the frame. 1930 82A cab (28/29 style). The information I have shows the back two blocks on each side with rubber under the wood. The front long block does not show any wood under the block. I believe when I removed the cab the front wood block was located between two layers of metal. Does anyone have the correct installation process/procedure for the front long body block.

Re: Body Blocks and rubber
The front body blocks on the 82-A (and all '28/'29 A's) is between the metal sills (painted black before installation. There is a rubber pad which goes under the metal sill and rests on top of the splash shield and body bracket.
This block is a long, odd shape. The front body bolt and the two body to body bracket carriage bolts go through the block.
