Finally might be able to start building a platform for my late 1930 AA157. I believe the correct platform is
the 185A as the truck has a tapered frame.
I am using Neil Wilson's excellent article on this platform and it has most of the dimensions that I need, however
I can't find the height of the 7 cross sills. The dimension I need is depicted by the red arrow in the attached photo.
Scaling the photo, it would seem that they would be about 7 1/2 inches in height. Is this correct ?
Thanks,
Ray

Re: Cross Sill Info Needed for 185A Platform
Ray, Using my drawings, I find the cross sills are 6-15/16" high at the tallest place. Attached is a drawing outlining a cross sill with dimensions.Arche22772 wrote: I can't find the height of the 7 cross sills.
